"How much stretch wrap do I need per pallet" is really a cost question. Film is bought by the roll but consumed by the pallet, so the number that matters is metres of film per load — and that changes with load height, film thickness, how many revolutions your operator or machine applies, and how much the film is stretched before it touches the load.
Load: 48 x 40 in pallet, 1.5 m load height, uniform cartons, manual wrapping with 500 mm (20 in) hand film.
Pattern: two reinforcing bands at the base, spiral up with 50% overlap, two bands at the top.
Rough film need: perimeter of the load ≈ 4.5 m. With roughly 8-10 effective revolutions, that is about 36-45 m of applied film per pallet, before pre-stretch is taken into account. A 1,500 ft (≈457 m) roll therefore covers in the region of 10-12 pallets at that pattern.
Treat that as a starting estimate, not a specification. The reliable way to get your own number is to count rolls consumed against pallets shipped over one or two weeks — it captures your actual wrap pattern and operator habits, which no table can.
