Plenty of businesses run both formats: bulk material arrives and is stored in FIBC bulk bags, then is packed down into woven poly bags for distribution or retail. If that is your flow, specify them together — GSM, liner and print can be matched across both so the product is protected the same way at each stage.
Palletised sacks still need load stability. Stretch wrap holds layered sacks together in transit, and tamper-evident seals matter where bulk shipments change hands.
FIBC bags — also called bulk bags or jumbo bags — store and move bulk dry, flowable material such as sand, grain, resin, powders and industrial ingredients, typically from a few hundred kilograms up to over a tonne per bag, handled by forklift or crane.
It comes down to unit load size and handling. If material moves by pallet or container load and is lifted mechanically, an FIBC is the fit. If it moves in sacks that people or small equipment handle, woven poly bags are cheaper and easier to stack and sell on.
Yes, with lamination. A laminated woven bag has a film bonded to the fabric, which resists moisture and dust and prints better. Unlaminated bags stay breathable and cost less, which suits aggregates and grains that don't need a barrier.
